Counselling and Psychotherapy

Therapy is a way for us to talk through our experiences, feelings, and thoughts that we find challenging to hold. This can lead to better understanding of ourselves and how we navigate our experiences. Having a safe space to talk can help us understand how we can live more presently, authentically, and intentionally.

A therapeutic relationship provides an opportunity to unpack our unique lived experiences, give space to process, respectfully be empowered, and find our sense of self whilst learning some skills, tools and strategies.

Tamara Bell

As a counsellor, psychotherapist and human, I describe my therapeutic style as collaborative, curious and genuine, whilst utilising trauma-informed principles. I am an integrative therapist that draws on a range of modalities and approaches depending on the individual person. My framework is grounded in attachment-based and narrative therapy. I have worked in the human services space for over a decade in diverse roles and have supported hundreds of people in private practice. In conjunction with my professional experience, my own personal life journey of healing has only enriched my practice as a therapist. Alongside being a therapist, I live a minimalistic lifestyle, I am an introverted, extrovert, find sanctuary in nature, love tiny homes/living, have a passion for quality foods, I can often get lost in a good book, and I spend my days with my husband, Sam and our beautiful dogs, Buddy and Skye.
